The goal of MACEP's health equity committee is to identify and reduce health disparities in emergency medicine within the state of Massachusetts. As a new committee, we hope to recruit members from all parts of the state in order to contribute a diverse viewpoint on issues we all face on a day to day basis. Working towards health equity can occur in a variety of pathways including advocacy, research, quality improvement and education.
