Page 1 of 2 Event Reimbursement
Any MACEP member, wishing to attend or participate in an emergency medicine related event who requests that MACEP cover the cost, must present their request to the MACEP Executive Director, preferably in writing with supporting materials when appropriate. The Executive Director shall bring the request and recommendations to the President of the Board who, with the executive committee’s assistance and acting on behalf of the board of directors, has complete discretion in deciding whether MACEP funds will be expended.
If the event is approved for sponsorship, the MACEP member receiving funds will be required to make a presentation to the Board at a time and place designated by the President.
It shall be the policy of MACEP to provide to each of the elected councilors who attends and represents MACEP at the American College of Emergency Physicians’ Annual meeting a stipend to help defray their costs.
