The Massachusetts College of Emergency Physicians is dedicated to advancing excellence in emergency care, and advocating for emergency physicians, their patients and the health of the community.
MACEP Goals: There are nine goals that strategically structure and prioritize the Board of Directors and members' efforts in meeting MACEP's mission.
Objectives and Strategies
To meet each goal, MACEP will pursue the following written objectives and strategies.

Goal: Seek to support committed leaders in Emergency Medicine

Goal: Communicate MACEP's mission, goals, objectives and achievements

Goal: Create high quality, timely education programs relevant to practice of emergency medicine

Goal: Recruit and retain members by providing value to their practice of emergency medicine

Goal: Provide leadership and oversight to improve pre-hospital services

Goal: Become a recognized leader in improving disaster management in Massachusetts

Goal: Become the leading resource in the state regarding Emergency Medicine reimbursement issues

Goal: Develop and advocate for effective governmental policies, and educate policy makers and members

Goal: Enhance the recognition and effective application of public health activities as a part of emergency medicine practice and develop legislative solutions.
